
Wheel Chair Lift & VRC Technician
We are looking to hire reliable, detail oriented, professional people to join our team! Our Certified Competent Conveyance Mechanic will be required to install/repair commercial wheel chair lifts, stair lifts and vertical/inclined reciprocating conveyors. Full time position. Salary based on experience. Paid benefits, vacation, insurance & sick pay.
Wheel Chair Lift & VRC Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Performing standard tests and adjustments, general operating and safety features of lifts and conveyors such as speed, acceleration, leveling, braking, emergency stop, and alarm bell.
Maintains and repairs electronic control panels, switches, relays, signal devices, electric motors, generators and related equipment.
Inspects, adjusts, maintains, and repairs hoist motors and machinery, door mechanisms, cables, hydraulics, pumps, brakes and related equipment.
Determines the need for and performs major overhaul or replacement of defective equipment.
Estimates materials required for specific job components.
Maintains work records.
Maintains tools and equipment.
Wheel Chair Lift & VRC Technician Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate
Current California CCCM License
Current California Drivers License
Clean Driving Record
Insurable through our auto insurance
Knowledge of electrical & mechanical aspects of wheel chair lifts & VRC’s
Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, repair procedures & safety practices of wheel chair lifts & VRC’s
